Steps to make Taco Soup:
  1. Start cooking the ground beef or turkeyin a skillet, chop the onion and add to the skillet, season with a little garlic powder and black pepper
  2. Open all the cans and pour them into a big stockpot. I don’t drain the juice, but you can if you want, just add some waterto make up for the loss of liquid. Mix with a spoon and bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and hidden valley ranch packets. Once meat is done cooking stir in and turn the heat to low and let cook for 10 more minutes or until heated through.
  4. It takes about 30 minutes to cook in all and serves 4 to 6. But this recipe is easily doubled to serve more. If you like more flavor add an extra taco seasoning packet. Also if you like it spicy add jalapenos and hot taco seasoning. Garnish with sour cream and tortilla chips. Enjoy!
  5. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
