- Prepare taco meat by browning hamburger and adding seasoning. If using pre-made taco meat…this step is not necessary.
- Cook jumbo shells according to package, then drain.
- Melt butter in pan used for boiling shells. Place shells back in this pan, cover and “toss” to coat with butter.
- Place a spoonful of taco meat into each shell and place in a 9 x 13 pan.
- Sprinkle each shell’s taco meat with the Dorito crumbs.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes at 350°.
- Remove from oven and add a pinch of cheese to each shell. Add other favorite taco toppings such as a dab of sour cream and or salsa.
